The Full Circle of Support
My name is Brittany Daugherty, and my connection to TOUCH Inc. began long before I ever imagined I'd need their support. In 2011, Sandy Feltz reached out to me asking if I would help with a fundraising event for TOUCH called Twilight on the Trail. Without a second thought, I said yes. The event turned out to be a wonderful success, and from that moment on, I kept showing up—volunteering wherever I was needed in the years that followed.
In 2013, everything changed. My mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The emotional and financial toll was overwhelming. After the first year of her treatment, I could no longer keep up with two electric bills—one for her home and one for mine. I reached out to TOUCH Inc., and within just a couple of weeks my mom was approved for utility assistance. That support gave her the breathing room to keep fighting without the constant worry of losing basic essentials like lights and heat.
After Mom passed, my commitment to TOUCH never wavered. I continued helping organize and support fundraising events as a way to give back to the organization that had been there for us in our darkest time.
Now, after 14 years of involvement, I’m truly honored to serve as a member of the TOUCH Inc. Advisory Board.
